The experience of Grantec's engineering staff with the COSMOS Finite Element Analysis system now spans one and a half decades. This experience goes back to 1990 when COSMOS was first used for performing advanced analysis for the design of the Canadian Navy's Maritime Coastal Defence Vessel (MCDV), also known as the Kingston Class minesweeper.
Throughout the years, a close working relationship has been maintained with the COSMOS developers, Structural Research and Analysis Corporation (SRAC), now known as "COSMOS, the Analysis Division of SolidWorks". We have been known, to push the limits of the COSMOS software from time to time, and continue to do so.
During the past year we have been pushing the bounds of the COSMOS suite of software on various projects. Some of these projects include:
Grantec's recent experience with the COSMOS suite of programs is reflected in the COSMOS Case Study recently published by SolidWorks Corporation and is now available for download on the SolidWorks website.
Grantec would like to take this opportunity to thank our "friends" at SolidWorks and COSMOS, including: Tim, Ram, Sanjay, Mehran, Rick and Sandy.
